Putting this up because it's the only time I've seen these graphics at the side change of a laserdisc. This is from Paramount's "Charlotte's Web" laserdisc, issued in 1981 (and has to be one of the company's most-issued titles on all formats.) It starts out with Paramount's color-changing copyright warning- a couple years later they changed the lettering to a less-dated looking font. Then the familiar LaserVision intro appears, the only time I've seen it not be the very first thing on the disc. Skipping to the end of the side (and testing out wipe effects on the computer for the first time) is the Laservision screen that usually appeared at the end of side 1 of early laserdiscs, except it's an odd white-on-blue version rather than a still of the animated opening. My DVL-909 freezes the last frame and flips to side 2 (that spinning disc graphic it puts on the screen annoys me and there's no way to get rid of it, but what can you do) where we get an unusual Side 2 intro instead of the usual animated Laservision logo again. At the end of the movie is a copyright warning screen (even though we already saw one BEFORE the movie!) used on the original DiscoVision laserdiscs, then another white-on-blue Laservision logo.
I didn't get a laserdisc player until 1993, but this was one of the first older laserdiscs I got- it was mixed in with the records at a Goodwill store and they only charged me 50 cents since they thought it was a record!
